Booking Appointments Online


 Online booking of appointments is only available to patients already registered at The Elms, and are for either standard (15 minute) or long (30 minute) doctor consultations. For more specialised appointments, bookings to see our nurse, or if you are a new patient, please speak with our receptionists by phoning (03) 5367-6662. If you cannot find an available appointment with your usual doctor, please ring the clinic and we will do our best to accommodate you.

In an emergency, please call 000 (triple zero) for an ambulance or attend a hospital emergency department.

Alternatively, The Elms Family Medical Centre Mobile Application may be used. With this app, patients can use a mobile device to book an appointment with their doctor, check for upcoming appointments, find useful patient information, and receive important notifications. Fees and Billing

The Elms is a private clinic, however, we offer a concession rate for normal appointments to holders of a pension card, a Health Care Card, and children under 16 years of age. Veterans' Affairs Gold Card holders are bulk-billed for all normal appointments.

Cancelling appointments and Non-Attendance

Appointments made online can be cancelled online. To cancel all other appointments, please speak with our receptionists by phoning (03) 5367-6662. Failure to cancel an appointment not only denies someone else the opportunity to seek medical care, but may also result in a fee being charged for non-attendance. This non-attendance fee will apply even if you are normally bulk-billed. Please note that Medicare does not provide a rebate for this fee
