The Elms is owned and run by local doctors who not only live in Bacchus Marsh but are also actively involved in our community. Along with providing a comprehensive range of medical services within a spacious modern clinic, our doctors personally look after you if you need admission to the Bacchus Marsh Hospital, provide home visits to local aged-care facilities, participate in the after hours roster at the urgent care centre of the Bacchus Marsh Hospital, and provide additional services such as palliative care. We also schedule 15 minute appointments as our standard consultation length, meaning our doctors have more time for you.

We have a full range of in-house services, including clinic nurses, pathology collection, psychologists, podiatry, physiotherapy, women's diagnostic ultrasound, echocardiography, and dietitian. Visiting regularly are two specialist general surgeons, a specialist general physician/endocrinologist and a specialist cardiologist. We are also a Government registered provider of Yellow Fever vaccination for travellers to affected regions of Africa, and Central and South America.

As part of The Village - Bacchus Marsh Shopping Centre, we are located on a car park off Main Street directly opposite the Bacchus Marsh Post Office boxes (see location map). Pedestrian access to The Elms from within the shopping centre can be via the walkthrough pharmacy.

Although we are a private clinic, to ensure that disadvantaged patients have equitable access to the highest level of care, The Elms offers bulk-billing of normal appointments to holders of a pension card, a Veterans' Affairs Gold Card, a Health Care Card, those receiving a Government unemployment benefit, and children under 16 years of age. Where to start . . .

Please contact our receptionists on (03) 5367 6662 to book an appointment (online booking is only available after initial registration as a new patient).

We encourage all new patients to present at the clinic 10 minutes before their first scheduled appointment to allow time for our reception staff to collect and register your information. A standard appointment is for 15 minutes, although longer appointments can be requested for patients with complex or multiple conditions.

Please bring with you your current Medicare or Veterans' Affairs Card, and any Concession or Health Care Cards, otherwise you will not be able to claim Medicare rebates.

To take advantage of Medicare Australia's electronic lodgement of claims, you will also need to register your bank account details at any Medicare office.
